Pacers Fall to Celtics in Game 2 of Eastern Conference Finals

Boston Celtics take 2-0 lead with 126-110 victory

Game was close through 1st half

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Indiana Pacers' hopes of reaching the NBA Finals took a significant blow on Saturday night as they were defeated by the Boston Celtics 126-110 in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics now hold a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. The Pacers fought hard in the first half, but the Celtics proved to be too strong in the second half. The Celtics pulled away for the win thanks to a strong performance from Jayson Tatum, who finished with a game-high 31 points and 11 rebounds. The Pacers were led by Tyrese Haliburton, who had 23 points and 7 assists. However, Haliburton was not able to get enough help from his teammates, as the Pacers' other starters combined for just 33 points. The Pacers will now need to win at least one game in Boston to keep their season alive. Game 3 of the series will be played on Tuesday night at the TD Garden.
